David Bergman's Photo of the Month, January 2012

On my blog in January, I posted a wrap-up of my time on the road as Bon Jovi's tour photographer. Jon Bon Jovi granted me unprecedented access to photograph him and the band on-stage and off.

During a concert in Helsinki over the summer, he tore the meniscus in his knee, and I was in the room as he had it examined right after the show.

Jon Bon Jovi has
his knee worked on in Helsinki during the world tour.

Just before the holidays, I proved that Jon Bon Jovi is still alive. The photo I made of him holding a handwritten sign that said "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey," went viral and squashed internet rumors of his death.

In January, I photographed the NFL playoffs and went to Phoenix with legendary photographer Neil Leifer to photograph Muhammad Ali for his 70th birthday.

As always, you can view my full portfolio at DavidBergman.net and order Bon Jovi photo prints at TourPhotographer.com. There are various ways to keep in touch or inquire about my availability on the contact page.

Thanks,
David
