Super Bowl XLV
1,213 megapixels

I produced this GigaPan for Sports Illustrated during Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6, 2011. It is made up of 230 photographs (23 across by 10 down) taken over a 17-minute span in the first quarter and stitched together to make a giant panoramic image. The final photo is 1,213,609,063 pixels.

WHERE'S RONALD?

For the version you see above, I made one small change to the image just for fun. I placed Ronald McDonald somewhere in the crowd of 103,219 people. Can you find him? Zoom in on the image by double clicking and click/drag to pan around the frame until you spot him.

The first person who finds him and sends me a screen shot to McGigapan@DavidBergman.net will get a signed 11X14 of one of my photos. You can pick the image and I'll ship it anywhere in the world.

**UPDATE: We have a winner! Actually two people found Ronald within seconds of each other so I'm giving them both a print. It took them 15 minutes to find him. Can you beat their time?

While you're here, feel free to have a look at my portfolio. In addition to producing the world famous Gigapan at President Obama's inauguration, I have 10 Sports Illustrated covers and am Bon Jovi's official tour photographer.
