80th Annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Extravaganza

This panoramic "GigaPan" was taken by photographer David Bergman during the 80th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Extravaganza at Rockefeller Center in New York, NY on November 28, 2012. Bergman made the image by taking 440 overlapping photos in a grid pattern (20 across by 22 down) throughout the entire show, and then stitching them together in the computer to create an ultra high-resolution photo. The final image is 65,503 X 46,867 pixels -- over 3,069 megapixels.
