Nikon vs. Canon Shootout

Who would win a low-light shootout between the new Nikon D3S and Canon 1D Mark 4 cameras? Josh Lehrer wanted to know so he organized a “shootout” featuring the two.
I shot Nikon and my friend Robert Caplin used Canon. We spent a few hours last month trying to make images in horrible lighting conditions.

i’m about to buy my first dslr camera… but i don’t know which to buy.. canon or nikon… my digital camera was canon so i’m a bit familiar using canon… but is nikon much better that canon?? since i’m a beginner my budget is quite tight so i need some suggestion which brand to choose… i’ll appreciate if somebody could email me back asap…
i prefer a good quality camera because i love outdoor & close up pic like wahat i used to with my canon digicam (supermacro setup).,, i need help… tahnk you…
